Update

I don't work today and we got about 8 inches of snow last night and it is still going strong, so needless to say I will be indoors all day:)

Jon and I are in the primary teaching the CTR-8 kids. We like it except for one kid who is super hyperactive. We are both losing weight because none of our favorite restaurants are here so we have to eat cooked meals from home.
Jon started a plumbing program at the community college with his brother 2 weeks ago. It is a 4 year program and when he is done he will have all of the certification to be a journeyman and for those of you who don't understand this stuff, it means he will be the highest paid. That's all I care about too:)

I started a job last week at the Western Governors University (WGU) as a transcript evaluator. I can't believe I am saying this but I absolutely love it. It is so nice not to be working with kids. I really like the girls I work with and I have a lot of work to do. Needless to say they tell and show me what I need to do and they leave me alone to do it. If I have questions they are there. But I just listen to my music and my work done:) It totally fits me. The pay is great to:)

Now for the big news...due to some unforeseen circumstances I am no longer continuing my Masters at the University of Phoenix. It is a long story that I do not want to explain and I am still livid about the whole thing. So just know that I am not going there anymore. I am so relieved that it is over though. I do not plan on going to school for a while.

I am cool living here now. I am making friends and learning how to drive like a Utah person. I have been exploring a lot up here and there is so much to do if only the snow and cold weather would go away.

well this is the update.

Happy New Year!

We had an excellent New Years! Jacob and his family came to visit us for the week. It was such a treat. We had so much fun seeing the temple lights and hanging out. Sarah got to babysit Camilla and Hyrum for a day which was wonderful. Sarah also got to put to use her cooking skills and cooked dinner for all of us a few times, it was delicious. It really boosted our spirtis to see them.
